Get Tall for Animals Animal List: Verified Animals and Their Egg Sources

Verified Get Tall for Animals animal list: ten species observed hatching from eggs, their egg sources and hatch times, plus animals seen in zones and pens.

In Get Tall for Animals, eggs hatch into animals that stand in your pen and earn cash — including while you're offline. Sixteen species are documented so far: ten observed hatching from stolen eggs and six more seen in zones or other players' pens, plus an icy summit floor named for mammoths where no mammoth actually appeared. The roster runs from the giant rabbit and parrot of the early floors through the koala, llama, jellyfish, giant crab and T-Rex up to the Mythic polar bear and the Megalodon floor's shark. This page lists each one with its egg source and the values shown on screen — the roster the evidence supports, not a claim that every animal in the game is known.

How animals are obtained

Every animal on this list comes through the same loop. The game's description sums it up: eat burgers to raise your GROW VALUE, grow your legs to reach higher floors, "Steal EGGS from the Guards", hatch the eggs into various animals, and earn cash from them, also offline.

  1. Grow past the floor's gate. Each floor checks your grow power before its eggs are reachable. One recorded session shows stage 2 needing 100, stage 3 — the beach — 400, the mountain floor 1,000, and the sky zone about 6,500.
  2. Take an egg. Eggs sit with guardians on each floor; the game itself calls the action stealing eggs from the guards.
  3. Carry it home. The floor's guardian chases you while you hold the egg. On the Megalodon floor the shark swims after you and gives up once you leave the water, dialogue warns against crossing a red line, and the players repeatedly hurried to reach the house "right in time".
  4. Place it at your house. The egg hatches on a visible timer. Timers observed in that session: roughly 10 seconds left on an ostrich egg, about 25 seconds for a koala, about 1 minute for the giant rabbit, 3 minutes for a llama, about 30 minutes for the polar bear, and about 1 hour for the Megalodon shark egg.
  5. Collect the earner. The hatched animal stands in your pen and earns cash, including while you are offline.

Where each floor's eggs sit is covered in the egg locations guide.

Hatch-verified animals and their egg sources

These ten species were each shown hatching from an egg on camera, with the floor it came from and the figures displayed at the moment of hatching. Names follow the species as identified in the footage's commentary, not confirmed official English labels.

AnimalEgg sourceObserved hatch timeWhat was shown on hatching
Giant rabbitFirst egg, starting areaAbout 1 minute"149 per second" displayed right after hatching (commentary mixed it with "power")
ParrotFloor 2, next to a "special egg"Timer shown, not read outHatched; value shown as 12
KoalaCollected from a mid floorAbout 25 seconds"So heavy, gives lots of money too — 217"
Llama ("rama" in commentary, likened to a giraffe)Same trip as the koala3 minutes"This llama gives lots of money"
JellyfishSea/beach areaNot read outHigh value on hatching; a rare "biggest egg" giant variant opened at 1,000 + 600 at about 4 kg
Giant crabBeach floorNot read outHatched at 1,300; described as giving less than the jellyfish
T-Rex dinosaur ("George")Icy mountain floorNot read out clearlyPower 1,000 + 600 (≈1,600)
Polar bearIcy mountain floorAbout 30 minutesMythic rarity ("super rare"); 70,000 shown
SharkMegalodon sea floor's egg; a "special, super rare" variant was notedAbout 1 hourHatched as a real shark; 400,000 shown
OstrichSavanna floorAbout 10 seconds left on the timerHatched at 800 — "why is it less than the jellyfish?"

Every row is a single observed hatch. The footage ties particular eggs to particular results — the Megalodon floor's egg produced a shark and the icy-mountain egg produced the T-Rex — but it does not show whether a floor's egg always hatches the same species, so read these as observed pairings rather than guaranteed outcomes or odds.

Animals seen without a hatch

Six more species appear in the footage without a shown hatch. The stingray is on the beach floor, picked up alongside the crab and carried home. The lion, gorilla and kangaroo are on the savanna floor, where the gorilla is called very big and the kangaroo is collected. The bat and goat turn up as residents of another player's pen — a pen holding a bat, jellyfish and goat, where one of the animals alone showed 20,000.

The icy summit floor is introduced as the mammoths' floor, but no mammoth was found, carried or hatched in that run. On this list the mammoth stays a floor name, not a confirmed animal.

Ranks and on-screen values: what they actually show

  • Rarity ranks are visible. Animals carry a rank above them, and the commentary reads Epic and Mythical tiers: the polar bear hatched at Mythic ("super rare"), and the Megalodon-floor shark was called Cosmic — "super rare of the rarest".
  • Cash is confirmed, but most numbers are not cash. The game description confirms animals earn cash, also offline, and the koala (217) and llama are described as money-earners, with the giant rabbit showing "149 per second" right after hatching. Most other figures, though — 1,600 for the T-Rex, 70,000 for the polar bear, 400,000 for the shark — are announced as power, and the footage never settles which displayed numbers are cash income. The table therefore records what was shown, not comparable earnings; the crab's 1,300 and the ostrich's 800 are only remarked as "less than the jellyfish".
  • The direction is still useful. The higher you climb, the bigger and rarer the animals get, and the numbers they display grow with them. How animal income works is the animal income guide's subject, and best-to-worst comparisons belong to the animal tier list — this catalog stays neutral.

The description also teases rare sizes, mutations and a Divine egg; the only size variant captured in the footage is the jellyfish's rare "biggest egg" giant variant.

Pick a species and go get it

Choose an animal from the table, grow past its floor's power gate, then follow the egg-hatching guide to steal the egg, carry it home and wait out the timer. If you want a head start on the climb, the codes page keeps the game's current codes.
