Get Tall for Animals Grow Value Explained
Grow Value is the stat Get Tall for Animals ties to eating. See what the official description confirms, how it links to leg growth, and what is not documented.
Grow Value is the stat that Get Tall for Animals itself ties to eating. The game's official Roblox description leads its feature list with "Eat to increase your GROW VALUE" and pairs it directly with "Grow your LEGS to reach the sky islands." That pairing is the confirmed core: eating raises Grow Value, and the stat feeds the leg growth that carries you up toward the sky islands. Everything beyond that — where the number is shown, its units, how fast it climbs, whether it caps — is not documented, so this guide sticks to what the game's own text and real play sessions actually show.
What the Grow Value stat is
The official listing (creator Vegle & Data 5) presents Grow Value as the first named feature:
🍔 Eat to increase your GROW VALUE ⬆️ Grow your LEGS to reach the sky islands
An independent guide restates the same link in plain prose: "Eating increases your Grow Value, while your growing legs let you reach sky islands." Localized versions of the listing translate the name simply as "growth value" (Indonesian: NILAI PERTUMBUHAN), which fits what it is — a plain progress stat for growing, not a special currency.
The description gives no numbers, units or formula for it, and no source describes an in-game display for the stat at all.

The confirmed way to raise it: eating
Eating is the only Grow Value source any material names. In play, that means burgers: gameplay footage shows burgers available right in front of the player's house, and eating them makes the character visibly taller.
The burger itself can be upgraded. In the same footage, burger upgrades raise an eating capability — how much and how fast your character can eat (one caption reads "eating power now 75"). Note the boundary: those upgrades change eating capacity and speed; no source states that they change how much Grow Value each meal adds.
Everything else on the feature list — PEN and TRAIL upgrades, cash from animals, stealing and hatching eggs — is presented as separate features. None of them is named as a Grow Value source.
How it plays out in height and tiers
Put together, the official pairing and observed play give a qualitative picture of what the stat buys:
- Eat → Grow Value rises → your character gets taller.
- Taller characters pass height gates that lead to higher tiers, where the eggs and animals worth collecting sit.
One gameplay session shows how finely those gates check the stat: at a value of 40, one player reached the next tier while their companion at 38 stayed below. Reading the tier signs, the players called out thresholds of 100 at the second gate, 400 at the beach, 1,000 at the mountain and roughly 6,500 further up, and clarified that the gate checks the growth value rather than the eating level.
Two caveats matter here. The video's captions never show a GROW VALUE label — they call the height-gating number "power" — and they are conversational auto-captions that mix several numbers (the growth value, the eating level and the gate thresholds). So treat the session as a demonstration of the eat → taller → higher-tier chain, not as confirmed on-screen readings of the Grow Value stat, and treat those thresholds as one session's observations rather than guaranteed constants. No source shows a conversion between the stat and leg height — only that more of it means taller.
Grow Value vs. the XP Boost
The description names both, so keep them straight:
| Name | What it is | Confirmed trigger |
|---|---|---|
| Grow Value | The growth stat that feeds leg growth toward the sky islands | Eating |
| Eating level | Eating capability — how much and how fast you can eat; rises with burger upgrades | Burger upgrades |
| XP Boost | A code reward; what it multiplies is not documented | Redeeming the "Release" code |
Different names, different triggers: one comes from eating, the other from code redemption ("Use code "Release" for free XP BOOST!"). Two honest limits: no source shows Grow Value and the XP Boost as separate on-screen interface elements, and nothing documents what the boost multiplies — the distinction rests on the game's own text. Current codes live on the codes page.
What is not documented
Be wary of guides that fill these gaps with invented specifics:
- Display location — no display, menu path or HUD label for Grow Value is documented.
- Units or numeric meaning — the description gives none.
- Gain rate — how much Grow Value one meal adds is unknown; no formula or per-burger number exists.
- Caps — no source confirms a maximum or diminishing returns.
- Stat-to-height conversion — the relationship is qualitative only.
If a progression update adds a visible Grow Value readout or changes stat labels, these details are worth rechecking.
Putting the stat to work
Since Grow Value has no documented on-screen readout, judge progress by what the game plainly shows: your character's height and which tier gates open. Keep eating the burgers by your house, upgrade the burger when you want to eat more and faster, and read the gate signs for the next threshold as you climb. To apply the stat to an actual height-building routine, see the height guide and how to grow tall fast — and when the gates start opening, the sky islands are what those taller legs are for.
