Get Tall for Animals Rare Sizes Guide

Get Tall for Animals lists rare size as a discovery. Learn what's officially verified, what one playthrough shows, and how to hatch eggs to hunt for them.

Rare sizes in Get Tall for Animals are officially advertised but officially unexplained. The game's description ends with "📖 Discover rare size, mutation and DIVINE egg!", which confirms rare size exists as a discovery category — and that one line is the only official information about it. No animal or egg is named as rare-sized, no size tiers are listed, and no size-specific effect is described anywhere in the official text or the one available playthrough. This guide covers what is actually verified, separates the feature from your character's leg height, and walks the egg route that produces the game's discoveries.

What the official description says

The description lays out the whole loop in one list: "🍔 Eat to increase your GROW VALUE ⬆️ Grow your LEGS to reach the sky islands 🥚 Steal EGGS from the Guards 🐣 Hatch eggs to discover various ANIMALS 💰 Earn CASH from your Animals (also OFFLINE) ✨ Upgrade your PEN, BURGER & TRAIL 📖 Discover rare size, mutation and DIVINE egg!" The same text circulates on the game's info mirrors, including an Indonesian version that renders the last line "Temukan ukuran langka, mutasi, dan telur ILAHI!" — discover rare sizes, mutations and divine eggs.

Reading that list carefully settles two things:

  • Rare size is a discovery category, and that is all it says. It shares the final line with mutation and the DIVINE egg; the affected entity, its appearance and its effect are not specified. Mutation is a separate system on the same line — this guide sticks to size.
  • Rare size belongs to the egg-and-animal pillar. It sits behind "Steal EGGS" and "Hatch eggs", not behind eating.

Rare sizes are not your character's height

Growing taller is its own mechanic: eat to increase GROW VALUE, your legs lengthen, and you can climb to the sky islands and higher zone floors. Rare size never appears in that chain — it is listed with what hatching discovers. The only connection is access: your eat-and-grow level gates which floors you can enter, and eggs sit on those floors. Height gets you to the eggs; nothing verified suggests it changes what hatches from them. The how to grow taller page covers the height system itself.

What one playthrough actually shows

The only gameplay footage available is a single Thai-commentary playthrough. Its size words are the players speaking, not on-screen labels — the video shows weight and power readouts, but no verbatim "rare size" tag ever appears. What it does show:

  • A special, rare-type egg. A jellyfish egg at the players' house is described as a special, rare type and the biggest egg they had found — "a giant egg". It hatched a jellyfish displaying power of 1,000 + 600 and a weight of about 4 kg.
  • A "small" dinosaur hatch. A later dinosaur hatch was described as small in size while showing 1,000 + 600 power — read as 1,600 total. It is the closest captured sign that hatched animals carry a size descriptor alongside weight and power.
  • A "Cosmic level, extremely rare" hatch. An egg described as special and extremely rare, picked up on the beach floor, produced the session's standout hatch: the players read it as "Cosmic level, extremely rare", with a 70,000 power figure. "Cosmic" is an egg-level descriptor — it is fully attested only in the video's title about hunting "Cosmic"-level eggs — and whether it belongs to the rare-size system or a separate egg-rarity ladder is unknown. The cosmic egg page tracks that side of the egg system.
  • "Giant" as commentary, not labels. The players also call big animals giant — a giant rabbit, a giant crab, the mammoth floor's animals. Those are spoken descriptions of large animals, not captured variant names.

The honest summary: size-related variation is visible — weight readouts, a "small" remark, dramatically larger rare hatches — but no size tier, rule or on-screen label is. Any list naming which animals or eggs "can be rare size" would be guesswork.

The egg route discoveries come from

As far as the description shows, every discovery — rare size included — flows through the same steal-and-hatch loop. As the playthrough demonstrates it:

  1. Eat until you meet the floor's requirement. Zone access is gated by your eat-and-grow level; observed gates read 100, then 400 at the beach floor, then 1,000 at the mountain floor.
  2. Steal an egg from its guards. Eggs sit out on the zone floors, and grabbing one triggers a chase — the players escaped with their rabbit egg "just in time".
  3. Carry it home and place it at your house to incubate.
  4. Wait out the hatch. Observed waits varied by egg: about 1 minute for a rabbit egg, about 3 minutes for another egg, about 30 minutes for a polar bear egg, and about 1 hour for the special, extremely rare dinosaur egg.
  5. Read the hatch display, which shows the animal's power and weight.

The how to steal eggs and how to hatch eggs pages go deeper on those steps, the egg list catalogs what's known, and the divine egg page covers rare size's headlined sibling. One caution: no source ties rare sizes to any particular zone or egg type — the special eggs in this session happened to come from the beach and icy mammoth floors, which is one session's pattern, not a rule.

Effects: animals earn cash — sizes add nothing verified

The only effects confirmed for animals are earnings and stat values. Officially, "Your Animals earn cash OFFLINE!", and the playthrough shows the readouts behind that loop: a freshly hatched rabbit at 149 per second, one animal read as 20,000 on its own, the session's rare hatch at 70,000, and a "Rama" animal the players flag as giving lots of money.

What no source provides is the link from size to any of it: the standout hatches stand out by magnitude, but nothing ties their values to size rather than species or egg rarity. No size-based cash or power bonus appears in the available evidence — and its absence there is not proof the mechanic lacks one. All figures in this guide are single-session readouts from one playthrough, not stable reference values. For the earning loop itself, see animal income.

Treat rare sizes, then, as a feature to watch rather than one to chase for stats: hatch broadly, read every stat card, and you will notice an on-screen size tag or tier name the day one exists. Collectible details like these shift with balance changes, so it is worth a fresh look after game updates.
